The 2012 SED Annual Meeting was be hosted by First UU Church, Richmond, VA.
Our theme was Multiplying Ourselves in the 21st Century, exploring new ways to grow, including the use of social media, virtual small group ministry, UU communities, satellite campuses and other avenues. Our Keynote Speaker was Tandi Rogers.
Tandi Rogers has been the Unitarian Universalist Association's Program Specialist serving the congregations in Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho since 2002. This past year she also served as the Interim Director of Youth and Young Adult Ministries for the denomination and has a new assignment this year as UUA Strategic Growth Specialist. Tandi is a candidate for the ministry and is in seminary at Seattle University, a Credentialed Religious Educator at the master level, and a graduate of The Humanist Institute in New York City. Her core orientations are religious educator and evangelical Unitarian Universalist.
